The HAPPY GERMAN BAGPIPERS
are definitely the most unusual bagpipe show band in Germany. The band consists mostly of young people.
With their "Entertainment Pipe Music", the HAPPY GERMAN BAGPIPERS play their own successful sound.
The band mix a concert program with traditional bagpipe music, samba, rock'n roll and many show elements.
Highlights were performances with the Red Hot Cilli Pipers, the Gunhild Carling Band from Sweden and during
the major event "Classic meets Pop". The HAPPY GERMAN BAGPIPERS played in Hungary, Croatia,
Punjab/India and across Germany. In Scotland they played at the Youth Festival in Aberdeen and the Fringe
Street Festival in Edinburgh and in many Scottish cities! TUI Cruises shot a promotional video with us on
“Mein Schiff 3”. The band is often booked as a "party band", such as for family celebrations, city festivals,
business events, presentations, etc.
The HAPPY GERMAN BAGPIPERS have specialized in concerts. Besides the bagpipes, they use a trombone,
tenor saxophone, concert snare drums, tenor drum, djembles, an Indian dhol and darabuccas.
